Who we are.
Australian Veteran Health Services is a medical service built by veterans, for veterans. We walk the journey with current and ex-service members, in clinic and through telehealth, with the care and continuity military life deserves.
Who are we?
AVHS started in 2021 when a group of medical officers, driven by a shared passion for better veteran care, saw a real need for support during the transition from military to civilian life. What began with just three doctors, one nurse and a small support team has grown into a dedicated crew of general practitioners, occupational physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, psychologists, mental health clinicians and support staff working across three clinics and our corporate office.
We offer care that is specifically tailored to the unique needs of current and ex-service members, whether it is in one of our clinics or through telehealth if you are further away. Unlike referral-only services, we provide hands-on medical support with direct access to medical specialists who understand military life. Whether you are looking for medical help, support with your DVA claim, or guidance navigating civilian healthcare, we are here to walk the journey with you.

What drives us?
What drives us is pretty simple, we care deeply about doing right by veterans. We are honest and upfront, so you will always know where you stand and what to expect. We aim to get the best possible outcome for you, and we are always looking for better ways to make the process easier and more effective.
We take the time to really listen, without judgement, because we know everyone's experience is different. With the knowledge and experience we have built, we are here to guide you through the system and stand by your side every step of the way.
