CASA medicals
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulates Australian aviation safety, including pilot licensing. Pilots must hold a current medical certificate to exercise the privileges of their licence. To initiate a CASA medical, visit casa.gov.au and log into the aviation medicine section as a pilot with your ARN.

FAA medicals
The Federal Aviation Administration regulates US aviation safety, licensing airmen through its Aviation Medical Examination programme. Visit MedXpress to obtain a confirmation number for your FAA medical before your appointment.
FAA does not routinely require blood tests or audiograms, but ECGs are required for Class 1 FAA medicals at age 35, 40 and annually thereafter.
